Los Angeles, California – Today, OmNom Apps released Pixel Scan, a minimalistic, pixel-art puzzler for iPhone™, iPod™ Touch, and iPad™. Pixel Scan is the latest mobile game from the publishers of Anagram Twist and Spy Words.

In Pixel Scan, players are tasked with figuring out what the image on the screen is. The catch is that players are only able to see a smaller sliver of the image, at a time, as it slides across the screen. Is it a letter, an animal, a star?

This game will have players thinking outside of the box spatially to figure out what each shape is.

In it, players take on the role of a wandering adventurer who accidentally stumbles upon a waddle of penguins. These penguins have escaped from the zoo and found their way to Antarctica. They don’t have their trainers to feed them though.

In Hashi Link, players take on the role of bridge builders. These builders go from one island chain to the next making sure that the total number of bridges to an island equals the designated number on the island.

Connections can be made orthogonally, but they cannot cross each other. A maximum number of two bridges can be made only as well—it’s a classic game of bridges remade with the latest OS and simplicity in mind.

Hashi Link features hundreds of puzzles across various recognizable island chains such as the Hawaiian, Galapagos, and Falkland Islands. Game play increases in difficulty as you progress so that there’s always a new challenge in store. In Hashi Link, you take on the role of a bridge builder. Going from island chain to island, your task is to link islands together with bridges.

Seems simple enough, right?

Alas, in this world of building bridges, there are a few rules you have to abide by (hey, what kind of a puzzle game would this be otherwise?):

• Connections made must equal the number on the island. No more and no less.
• A maximum of two connections can be made between islands.
• All islands must connect to the large chain of islands.
• Connections made must also be made left and right, up and down.
• Bridges cannot cross over each other

Hashi Link features hundreds of puzzles across many different island chains including the Hawaiian and Falkland Islands. Each chain of islands (or category) presents its own unique challenge with many requiring different logical approaches.
